Rain, Laundry and a Smoldering Tree

We leave Botswana in two days.  Laundry was piling up, so despite a prediction of rain, we did two loads this morning, and hung them under the carport to dry.

That was a wise choice!  Daily prayers for rain have been answered!!
It's pouring down and we are so thankful.  The clothes can dry tomorrow.

Whenever they dry, our clothes will carry the scent of the village in their fibers--especially the smell of the smoldering tree in the neighbor's yard:

Neighbor's smoldering tree.

Thank God for rain and pray that more will come until the crops are revived.
